12 hour race with Historix

Hi again, saw this offer in another league I`m racing in and thought maybe some of you could be interested as you are racing Historix already and there wouldn`t be a need to adapt for new mod. Test event is tomorrow (I know, it`s late to announce that), but should be a good opportunity to learn a bit the the track and get hold of techniques used to run one race for 12 hours. I want to participate in the real event as well the test one. But I need one teammate for that. So I turn to you. Hoping to drive a Jaguar MKII, but that can be changed (not to Alpina, have to say. I don`t like the Alpina   ) so if there`s anyone who would like to try this out, leave a message. I`m in a hurry now, so could have forgotten something. below I`ll copy opening post for this endurance race`s thread.

Oh, and the test event is only 4x20 mins long. So 2 runs (20 minutes each) for the each driver of the team. So no hyperlong event tomorrow.

The 12 Hours of Livet Glen is a special event drawing together the best RFactor has to offer into a true challenge of endurance. The competitors for this event will use the Historic Touring Cars (TC-65) as they attempt to survive 12 hours of arguably the best fantasy track for RFactor, Livet Glen.
The event will start at 10:00 BST and will comprise an original race formula to enable all competing teams the chance to reach the race finish. Reaching the finish may be aided but winning the 12 Hours will be the challenge.

The unique race format will be:-

10:00 - 12:10 - Live stage 1
12:10 - 12:30 - Safety period
12:30 - 14:40 - Live Stage 2
14:40 - 15:00 - Safety period
15:00 - 17:10 - Live stage 3
17:10 - 17:30 - Safety period
17:30 - 19:40 - Live stage 4
19:40 - 20:00 - Safety period
20:00 - 22:00 - Live stage 5 - Race to the flag

During the LIVE phases we run a normal RFactor 2:10 race session. Each session will run in-game at the above times, so day and night driving will be required.
A team that fatally crashes the car, or has a disconnection, in one LIVE session can rejoin at the next safety car period.
No driver changes during a LIVE Race Session. During the Safety car periods we restart the server, at the next time stage, and the Teams have a different driver enter the server.
The winner is the team that covers the greatest distance in the 12 hours, aggregated over the 5 LIVE phases.

Full details and regulations will be available in the coming weeks but for now, just get the date in the diary and get testing the cars.
