For the two files that generates errors, I cannot understand what happened. Those files are part of the GameData you have downloaded. So, if you unzip the file and put the result in the rFactor directory, the files cannot be wrong...

The strange thing is that the rest seems to be OK, except those two files. That difficult for me to explain. Iand also, you got a test with the green tick. And now it not the case. So you probably changed something...

Anyway, you can copy the files with the same name from the UIData directory and paste them in the UIData\HISTORIC GT directory. This should solve the problem

Hi Guys,

Just thinking back i had a Green tick, then after that i was in discussionion concerning the UI Update (Readable fonts)
I downloaded the file from Cad's link and installed everything looked fine fonts were different  etc...
Then i downloaded the fuel patch and installed, ran the Client 2 and the error's appeared, that means the UI Update
font change must have changed the background picture etc..

But dont be worry, as written above, you can just copy/paste the 2 files and the green tick will come back

a) on the portal page, go to the drivers menu, and select "edit data"
b) select 2010 endurance.
c) select a category and a cear
d) please notice that the car you chose, is you choice for the whole saison (for all the endurance races! for the champ races you can still vary your choice from race to race)

Thanks Jigo,

I have chosen a Car, but wanted to import a color/paint scheme for the races.
ie. like other drivers have a new paint job in the "Private Garage" section.

Is this allowed ?

Ken, unfortunatly this is not allowed anymore. The private cars are part of the season preparation. Easch driver can purpose his cars, we do some "validation races" to check that the car is OK for everybody and after that the car is included in the GameData. By including the cars one by one, we offen got mismatches. That's why we do this before and why we do the "car validation races"
So when the season starts, we do not add new cars anymore. We had a piece of software to easily update car during the season, but one or two drivers didn't bring the software to work (probably do to windows Vista software issues). So we decided last year that we will not use this anymore. But I'm still working on that point to find a solution.

Anyway, maybe we will have a Car patch (and validaiton races) during the season break. So hold on
